Oh, Honey! These Chewy Oatmeal Energy Balls are a hearty on the go snack that will hold you over until your next meal… did I mention they taste fantastic? This recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of honey – so you know they are going to curb your sweet tooth.
- 1-1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 3 tablespoons – shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, finely chopped
- 1 scoop – Whey Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup – honey
- 1/2 cup – dried cranberries (or dried fruit of your choice)
- 1/2 cup – peanut butter
In a medium bowl, add the oats, coconut, almonds and protein powder. Stir until well mixed; add honey, cranberries, and peanut butter; stir well. Place in refrigerator for about 25 minutes. Then roll into rounded balls. When chilled, will last about 5 days.
Yield: About 2 Dozen
Time: Approximately 50 minutes (including chill time)
